  • Meaghan Schulz, Co-Founder

    Meaghan is a graduate of the University of Alberta Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance program, and the MacEwan University Theatre Arts program. Some of Meaghan’s previous roles include Francesca Johnson in The Bridges of Madison County (Nightingale Arts Collective), Mrs. Banks in Mary Poppins (Storybook Theatre), Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes (Stage Right Theatre), Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense (Swamp Donkey Musical Theatre), Marcellina in The Marriage of Figaro, Oolie/Donna in City of Angels, and Lady MacDuff in Nightshriek. She has appeared with Calgary Opera as a chorus member in Carmen, L’elisir d’amore, The Merry Widow, La Traviata, Pagliacci, Turandot, Filumena, Eugene Onegin, La Bohème, and the Canadian premier of Everest.

    Meaghan was a roster singer with Cowtown Opera, and appeared in A Cowtown Christmas, The Bat (Orlofsky), Secret Lives of Corporate Calgary (Heather), and Cowtown Cabaret. She teaches voice, piano, and preschool music at Chinook School of Music.

  • Melissa Wang Jackson, Co-Founder

    Melissa is a graduate of the the University of Calgary Bachelor of Music program. She has appeared with Front Row Centre Players in Sondheim Tribute (Cinderella, Dot); with Swamp Donkey Musical Theatre in Vanities: The Musical (Mary), and The Spitfire Grill (Hannah); with Calgary Opera in Le Nozze di Figaro (Barbarina), Dead Man Walking (Sister Catherine), Rigoletto (Page), Tosca (Shepherd Boy); with Cowtown Opera Company in Magic Flute (First Lady), Annie Davidson (Miss McLennan), Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (Bottle), Who Killed Don G? (Donna Anna). Melissa is a soloist with choirs and orchestras, including Kantorei and Rocky Mountain Symphony Orchestra. Melissa believes in the importance of arts in the city, so serves on several arts boards.

  • Stuart Howe, Education Director

    Stuart is a graduate of the MacEwan University Theatre Arts program, Oberlin College Conservatory Of Music and New England Conservatory Of Music. Throughout his opera career, he appeared on stages in Europe, Canada, the United States and Middle East. Some of Stuart’s roles included Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore), Ernesto (Don Pasquale), Edgardo (Lucia di Lammermoor), Rodolfo (La Bohème), Fenton (Falstaff), Gérald (Lakmé), and Arnold (Guillaume Tell) as well as oratorio and concert appearances with many Symphonies in North America.
